About the Jersey Cattle Society
The
Jersey Cattle Society was founded in 1878. Its current office
is at Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, and is based on about a
1,000 members, who register 6,000 pedigree animals.
The Society exists to promote Jersey cattle breeding in the
UK.
The Society also supports 16 local area clubs. We publish members'
newsletters each quarter and 'The Jersey Q', a commerically
targeted leaflet, twice a year.
We have a permanent pavilion at the NAC of which we make extensive
use at the Royal Show, as well as other times.
