The 23rd Gold Top Show and Sale of pedigree Jerseys at Borderway on Wednesday 24th August 2005 was, as predicted, fantastic trade for the small selection that was on offer. Mr John Waller, Hall Beck, Killington, Kirkby Lonsdale tapped forward the champions of the day.

The top price of the day was Danish Du Drambo Crowberry, the Reserve Champion of the show. Consigned by John & Carol McIlwraith, Balig Farm, Dunoon, By Ayr, this Bambro daughter in her third lactation sold for 2,500gns to Mr Robert Graham, Airthrey Kerse, Stirling. Dunure Jerseys also claimed the Champion title with a Q Handix daughter in her second lactation.

J Thompson & Sons of Farlam Jerseys, Brampton, consigned Farlam Danish Ena, the second top price of 1,150gns. This in-calf heifer with unbelievable production of fat and protein was sold to the Judge Mr John Waller, Hall Beck, Kirkby Lonsdale.
