Pimhill Dispersal at Beeston Castle

A very good crowd of buyers were in attendance for the
Winter Collection Sale of Jerseys at Beeston Castle Auction
which included the dispersal of the entire Pimhill Herd
on behalf of Richard Mayall and his daughter, Ginny,
of Harmer Hill, Shrewsbury. The cattle were dispersed
far and wide going as far north as South West Scotland
and as far south as Exeter.
Fresh Jersey Heifers topped at 1400 gns for Plardiwick
Julians Estelle a fresh heifer by Valleystream Julian
from JD & HE Allen of Haughton, Stafford which sold
to DM Riley of Crewe.
From the Pimhill Herd served heifers topped at 780 gns
twice selling to CM Haigh, Glen Luce and JLH Vallis of
Exeter respectively. Maiden Heifers sold to 760 gns for
a daughter of Q Zik which sold to JR Heuchan & Sons
of Castle Douglas.
