Messrs MS Ashton & Sons of Torrington sold a consignment of 15 Cows which were calving outside of their Autumn calving block, they sold exceptionally well and attracted great interest topping at £1420 for “Morebridge Legacys Shingle GP82” a second calver by Hollylane Lilibets Legacy, she was due in April to the British Blue and sold to Messrs Spiller Honiton. At £1400 was another Legacy daughter which sold due in February to the same buyer. The same vendors sold January calving cows to £1350 & £1300 and their consignment averaged well at £1130.

In Calf heifers topped at £1000 for a November calving heifer by New Zealand sire Greenile Maun Impish from Bruce, Jenny & Jess Ravenhill-White.

A quality consignment of yearlings and calves from the Glanmor herd of Daffyd & Helen Cox of Carmarthen sold very well with great interest in every lot. The top of their smart bunch sold at £860 for “Glanmor Perfector Rebel” a November born heifer by Shellen Perfecter out of an EX90 Valleystream Julian cow, she sold to James Warren of Penzance for his Cardinney herd.
