A large entry of Jerseys sold to huge demand and bidding was very strong from start to finish!

Five breeders consigned quality Jerseys from Jersey Island and the long journey certainly paid off with the prices achieved being far above expectations. John, Sarah & John-James Le Feuvre of St Peter sold a show potential heifer “Elite Aimless Lady 232” a daughter of Family Hill Ringmaster which topped the day at 3200gns. This April calved heifer sold backed with 6 generations of VG & EX dams from the renowned Lady family, she sold to Mike & Claire Colwell for their Quintrell herd in Cornwall. The Le Feuvres also sold a super second calver “Lassies Grand Prix Flower” by Rapid Bay Grand Prix ET at 2000gns to Messrs Dowding for their herd in Yeovil.

Rob & Tom Perchard from La Ferme, St Martin sold a super consignment of cows and heifers which met strong demand and their best sold at 1800gns for “Ansom Action Showsybil EX90” a fourth calver by Forest Glen Avery Action which sold with 7 generations of VG & EX dams to The Davis Family for their Rivermead Herd. The Perchards also sold a Fifth calver “Ansom AJ Action Rossy VG86” by Action and she sold giving 31Kgs at 1550gns to Richard Fry of Barnstaple. The same purchaser secured a third calver “Ansom Rev Princess VG86” by a homebred Lester Sambo son, she sold having calved in May and giving 33Kgs for 1500gns. The Perchard’s also sold a heifer by Danish DJ Zuma which had calved in March for 1480gns. Ricky Leith of St John sold a smart consignment of cows & heifers to a strong trade topping at 1450gns for “Chalet Ka Hot Bangle” a second calver by Jas Hot, she sold to Messrs Stevens Bros who purchased 16 head for their newly established herd in East Devon.

Vicky Huelin of St Martin sold a smart group of weaned calves to 500gns twice for “Cottage Laugee Keeper” and “Cottage Bells Avelida” both daughters of an Iatola son. Mike & Claire Colwell of Redruth consigned a super consignment of Freshly calved and In calf Cows & Heifers from their renowned Quintrell herd which sold to a flying trade! Top was 1900gns for “Quintrell Gemini Ellen GP84” a second calver by Shamrock Grove Gemini, she sold to D & P Evans of Chulmleigh. Others sold to 1650gns for “Quintrell Belmont Yarrow VG85” a fourth calver by Silver Spring Belmont, she sold to Ollie Rose of Dulverton. Heifers sold to 1580gns for “Quintrell Ambition Fennell” by Riverside Ambition, she sold to Messrs Stevens Bros. The same vendor sold In Calf Heifers to 1280gns and 1220gns.

The dispersal sale on behalf of Peter Morrish of Cullompton sold to very strong demand and topped at 1400gns for a freshly calved heifer “Maervale Zuma Legacy” by Danish DJ Zuma, her heifer calf by Clooney Conquerer sold at 260gns. Others sold to 1250gns for “Richtop Iatola Dominion” by Iatola and 1220gns for “Richtop Jante Heiress 5” by Danish DJ Jante. Also at 1220gns was a fourth calver “Berkeley Rachel 6” by Iatola. Dry Cows sold to 1200gns for a DJ Lirsk daughter due her third in August.
