Gold Top Jersey makes it a first as All-Breeds All-Britain Calf Show Champion

Rapidbay-UK Pandoras Jurisdiction made history at the All-Breeds All-Britain Calf Show by becoming the first non-Holstein Interbreed Champion.

Rapidbay-UK Pandoras Jurisdiction

Owned and exhibited by James Strachan and Candace Borland from their Rapidbay-UK herd in Suffolk, Pandoras Jurisdiction swept past the Holstein, Dairy Shorthorn, Ayrshire and Guernsey contenders to claim the title.

Sired by Jewels Jurisdiction she is a daughter of Rapidbay-UK Jades Pandore ET VG86.

Commenting on the success, Peter Prior, chairman of UK Jerseys, said: “Pandoras Jurisdiction looked a picture. She was born in February 2007 and will soon be producing the next generation of the family too. We are extremely pleased for James and Candace who are excellent showmen. It is another great boost for the breed, demonstrating our growing ability to produce dairy cattle for both the showring and commercial dairy farmers.”
