It was great to see Jerseys topping the numbers in the milking cows section, and giving Mike Styles plenty to think about. Our appreciation goes to all who exhibited. The Show capped the visit for Mike and Pat Styles who were making their first visist to the UK from Waverley Jerseys, Virginia, USA.

Charity Calf Auction - The Daw family are also donating Bluegrass Ressurrections Helleborus for auction at Wright Manley’s Coloured Kaleidoscope on Friday 19th October. The sale is at Beeston Castle and proceeds will be donated to the Jersey Youth Travel Award.

Heleborus is backed by 7 generations of EX and VG in her female line, and there is milk in abundance with Bluegrass Barbers Harpist EX92 topping the production stakes at 10907kg in her 6th lactation.

Please bid – in person, on the phone or by emailing before the date - to reflect the quality of this generous donation by the Daw family.

Lily Hill Cup – Izzie wright receives the Lily Hill Cup from David Cotton, RABDF chairman, with her parents, Andrew and Helen looking on. UKJ President, Tom Bradley, conveys the Society’s pleasure at seeing the Wright family’s Fourcrosses herd win the Cup for the second time in three years.

William has returned to manage the farm and has introduced pedigree Jerseys, with the intention of replacing all the black & whites in the herd.
