Jersey Youth Travel Award

If you are aged between 18 and 26 years, are passionate about the Jersey breed, and would like to learn more about the breed in USA & Canada or Denmark, this is the opportunity for you.

To apply, please provide details of your experience with the Jersey breed to date, along with a maximum of 250 words explaining what you see as the greatest opportunity and the biggest challenge for the Jersey breed in the next ten years.

A short list of candidates will be interviewed at The Dairy Event & Livestock Show on Wednesday 8 September 2010.

The Winner will have a place on the JISEX International tour to the USA & Canada from 1st to 14th November, visiting Jersey farms, the All-American, Louisville and The Royal Winter Fair, Toronto

Runner-up will visit Agromek and Danish dairy herds between 29th November and 1st December, on the Viking Genetics International Farm Tour.
