The Q Lor son has impressive health traits offering £166
PLI, +0.1 lifespan and -8 somatic cell count. Quality
production is also a key attribute of Lix for farmers
wanting to improve components as he transmits a massive
+0.32% fat and +0.16% protein.
With solid foundations that boast a long maternal line
of high production cows, Lix’s dam is a tremendous
animal averaging in four lactations, 7,230kgs milk at
6.34% fat and 4.34% protein. This yield is mirrored in
his granddam who in six lactations averaged 7,103kgs
milk at 6.21% fat and 4.10% protein.
Cogent is able to offer the most elite and comprehensive
Jersey line-up on the market and the addition of Lix
boosts its portfolio – providing a bull that combines
the true Danish Jerseys’ profitable production
and durability.
Cogent’s Jersey Specialist Derrick Frigot comments: “This
new sire is destined to become a major influence across
Europe.
“His daughters have open-framed, capacious dairy
bodies that indicate their ability to be long-lasting
and economical cows.
“With strongly-attached, shallow udders and well-placed,
ideal-sized teats, this new sire offers breeders a new
generation of Danish Jersey breeding with the traditional
traits of high components in abundance.”
