Message from CTS Transformation Team
We would like to bring to your attention the following information
which we believe will be of interest to your members/customers.
Keepers/farmers are required by law to report the birth, movement
and death of cattle on their premises to the BCMS (British Cattle
Movement Service).
Over the last few years we have introduced a number of electronic
methods for the reporting of this data to make this as simple
as possible. CTS Online is our free interactive website to view
and report cattle information and more recently a new self service
telephone line has also been made available for cattle keepers
who do not have access to a computer. Some commercial farm software
packages also include this facility.
We enclose these summaries on the improved services and would
be obliged if you could incorporate them onto your website.
A new, single page, cattle passport will be produced from 1 August
2011. This change is being introduced as the electronic services
for cattle reporting prove increasingly popular.
We would also like to invite you to receive further information
updates from us via our regular e-newsletter?
If you or anyone
in the agricultural industry who would be interested in receiving
our e-newsletter, please email us providing an e-mail address,
contact name and CPH number to: ctsonline@bcms.rpa.gsi.gov.uk
Regards
